Formulated in 2022, Cultured was the idea of two 24 year olds, Gurnoor Singh and Kashish Luthra, who wanted to radicalize the Indian Fashion scene. With the rapid growth in “hype-culture” and increasing demands of foreign and imported goods, the market was being flood by international fashion labels, and subsequently their bootlegs.

About us

Over this course, the founders believed that there could be a potential for Indian homegrown fashion to carve a niche of its own.


Fashion aficionados themselves, the founders took a knack for Homegrown apparel seeing the scarcity created by the most sought after brands from the West. The whole idea seems absurd as the belief at Cultured is Fashion is for everybody.

Furthermore, with growing ambition and sample size, that vision changed from making it a niche product to taking Indian homegrown fashion to a much broader audience. With the hopes of making Indian brands at the centre of the fashion Industry, and possibly taking it global, Cultured was incepted in 2023.

While our aim is the present the country’s largest curation of homegrown apparel and art to choose from, Cultured equivocally aspires to become the biggest endorses for homegrown artists and brands
