With the release of the Jordan 1 High Volt Gold, Jordan Brand had a successful start to 2021. By using novel materials and design elements that support a reconstructed aesthetic, this model presents a modern interpretation of the well-known Black Toe motif.

The upper of the Jordan 1 Volt Gold is made of white, black, and yellow leather with the well-known Black Toe color blocking. A bright splash of color is added by a Volt yellow-tinted fabric with the Jordan Wings emblem wrapped around the ankle. As opposed to the original Jordan 1 designs, which have double stitch reinforcement, the Volt Gold’s overlays have single stitch reinforcement, giving them an exposed edge and three-dimensional appearance. The reverse transparent tongue label and the nylon tongue with exposed foam edges highlight Jordan’s rebuilt method of design. An old, vintage impression is provided by the black outsole and yellowed midsole, which finish the ensemble.
